MTU looks fine just under 1500. ie standard MTU minus a bit for the OpenVPN
overhead.
Data isn't even making it to the real Ethernet interface, I get the error as
soon as OpenVPN tries to write to the tun device. Putting OpenVPN on debug I
get this error with small packet

ok once it came back up, I tried to copy the VM while no VM that resides on the
iscsi storage was running, and it copied for a few seconds then restarted the
solaris server.
Are my expectations of OpenSolaris too much?

OK scratch all I said, after copying one VM, then booting it, then copy another
one while the first is running it crashed both servers again.
I will retest with just the windows initiator again.

NFS still caused the opensolaris server to reboot once the VM started to copy.
There may just be a NFS configuration / permissions issue as the windows
machine I attempted to test on first was not able to write to it.
COMSTAR is working stable thus far, and at this point it is all going through
ok upgraded to svn_128, I was a little hesatent as I attempted to go to a
previous dev build, and the system would not boot, then I tried again and then
my CLI would not function properly.
This time though it all seems to work. As of now I am able to comunicate with

somewhere in the system? I remember having to tweak such settings before on
Linux.
I think there's an MTU setting in the OpenVPN config file, you could try
reducing it to see if smaller packets get through correctly

development ISO yet.
IPS currently contains:
NVDAgraphics v185.18.36 - the Nvidia display driver
NVDAcg v2.2 - NVIDIA Cg Toolkit (w/ a GLSL 1.4-based compiler)
The next IPS update is expected to have the latest Nvidia
I had the exact same problem with 2009.06. I worked with Sun support for weeks,
and it came down to a bug that was fixed in svn_124. I upgraded at that time to
124, and the box has been solid since then.

Certainly, Linux/Solaris isn't a drop-in replacement. That said, there
are a great number of places where it _is_ a viable solution. It all
depends on a very thorough examination of exactly what the organization

MySQL comes with it's own startup script called mysqld_safe. This script will
restart the daemon if it stops for some reason. Using SMF on top of this seems
redundant but this appears to be how it is setup when you install MySQL from
amp-dev. What do you gain by using SMF with MySQL?
