S10 (05/08) was installed on the same box with the same IDE 80 GB Seagate drive with no problems. I can also dual boot it with F8,openSUSE 1,Ubuntu HH 8.04.1 (all linuxes will load ata_piix driver). Early Nevada builds 55 happily ran on this particular HW configuration about 2 years ago.
