Hi,
Any chance that old compiler options can get fixed for Solaris
Studio cc compiler? For solaris-sparcv9-cc option with Sun compiler
Studio 12.1 cc (cc: Sun C 5.10 SunOS_sparc Patch 141861-04 2010/02/24)
on Sparc (5.10 Generic_142900-06 sun4u), I get the following compiler
complaint:

Hi,
This issue seems to lie with gcc 4.0.1. If openssl is built with
gcc 3.4.4, it works.

Hi,
Attached is a testlog output from make report
showing that the tests fail if compiled with gcc 4.0.1
on an HPUX 11.11 system. I have had this fail on two
different machines.

This problem persists with the final release of 0.9.7 on Solaris 8,
when the code is compiled with either gcc (3.2) or Sun's C compiler
(Forte 7).

Arrgh nevermind. I figured out that if I do a crle and add the
directory of the library, then my problems go away. Maybe make install
could suggest this step...

No, you can assume that I've been on vacation for the week.

OK, my appologies, and I hope you had a good vacation.
Can you do
Hi,
I tested this issue on Solaris 8, but have been testing 0.9.7 beta6
against HPUX 11.0 as well. I'll see if I can answer your question...

Hi,
It is the end of the day and I am tired, but SNAP 1226 didn't fly
on HP. I did:
./Configure hpux-parisc-cc --prefix=/opt/openssl-0.9.7 no-asm shared configure.out
gmake make.out
gmake test test.out
The three out files are attached. It failed testing. I never got
to the installation
Howdy,
In testing 0.9.7-beta6 on an HP system running HPUX 11.0,
the compile and test work fine, but the installation into
my alternate directory /opt/openssl-0.9.7 fails. The static
static and dynamic libs do not get installed into /opt/openssl-0.9.7/lib.
Attached are the output of gmake
Hi,
I'm trying to get pine4.50 working with openssl-0.9.7-beta6
on an HP system running HPUX 11.0. make report info was attached
to bugid 412 opened earlier this morning. I've since rebuilt
and reinstalled (working around bug 412 by hand) with the -g
option in the compile for openssl.
