[openssl-project] Code freeze later today
Hi, A reminder, we're releasing beta 2 tomorrow. In preparation, we will do as usual, freeze the repo, which will happen some time this evening (Swedish time). [openssl-project] Code freeze later today
Just a reminder that beta1 is scheduled for release tomorrow so, in preparation for that, I will be freezing the repo later today. Of course this really means feature freeze as well since this will be your last opportunity to push features before the beta release. So if there is anything still outstanding, please get it pushed asap! Matt ___ openssl-project mailing list openssl-project@openssl.org https://mta.openssl.org/mailman/listinfo/openssl-project
Re: [openssl-project] Code Freeze!!!
Release is done. The repo is now unfrozen! Thanks to Richard for your help in the release. Please could someone freeze the repo for me? The tools don't let me do it for my own benefit: ssh openssl-...@git.openssl.org freeze openssl matt Thanks Matt ___ openssl-project mailing list openssl-project@openssl.org https://mta.openssl.org/mailman/listinfo/openssl-project
Re: [openssl-project] Code freeze later today
Please try to walk through and use the release instructions in the tool repo and fix any errors. On 2/12/18, 6:24 AM, "Matt Caswell" wrote: Tomorrow we are doing our first alpha release. There are a few items I'm gonna push for 'til next Alpha: - complete the OSSL_STORE work. The search functionality PR still needs a review (gonna call for it). - some details on how we build stuff. We introduced GNU-like "make variable" support in configuration, but Andy correctly pointed out that there are some macros and stuff that we don't want to make optional. This requires a bit of a rethink of config attributes and the make variables we do use in the end. - I'm trying to build ia64 assembler stuff on VMS. This also requires a bit of a rethink how we use the make variables (not as hard as it sounds). Just wanted to let you know what I've on my plate. -- Richard Levitte levi...@openssl.org OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org/~levitte/ ___ openssl-project mailing list openssl-project@openssl.org https://mta.openssl.org/mailman/listinfo/openssl-project
