Hi, stackers
I try to use the Kolla Images and pull them down from docker hub.
I found the size of the image is bigger than what I thought(for example, the
images of docker conductor service is about 1.4GB).
Is it possible to get a more smaller images.
Do we have the plan to minimize the
I feel maybe usb redirection is a way to what you want.
But unfortunately the blueprint has not been finished in juno.

Hi stackers,
When I use the createBackup API, I found it just snapshots the root disk of the
instance.
For an instance with multiple cinder backend volumes, it will not snapshot them.
It's a little different to the things in current createImage API.
My question is whether it's reasonable and

Now there is an default while list filter for PCI device.
But maybe it's not enough in some scenario.
Maybe it's better if we provide a mechanism to specify a customize filter.

Hi stackers,
I found there are two policy.json files in cinder project.
One is for source code(cinder/etc/policy.json), another is for the unit
test(cinder/cinder/tests/policy.json).
Maybe it's better to united them and make the unit test to use the

Hi,
When I use an image to create a cinder volume, I found image's metadata is
saved into DB table volume_glance_metadata.
But when I use os-volume_upload_image to create image from cinder volume,
the metadata in volume_glance_metadata
is not setted back to the newly created image. I can't

This just pushes all the responsibility to guarantee the consistency of the

It's absolutely not convenient and I doubt whether it's appropriate.

Agree with you. I like this idea so much.
It makes the blueprint review/discuss better tracked and recorded.
It's convenient for the people joining later to know the design's history.
