I try to use the Kolla Images and pull them down from docker hub.
I found the size of the image is bigger than what I thought(for example, the
images of docker conductor service is about 1.4GB).
Is it possible to get a more smaller images.
Do we have the plan to minimize the images.
I feel maybe usb redirection is a way to what you want.
But unfortunately the blueprint has not been finished in juno.

When I use the createBackup API, I found it just snapshots the root disk of the
instance.
For an instance with multiple cinder backend volumes, it will not snapshot them.
It's a little different to the things in current createImage API.

Now there is an default while list filter for PCI device.
But maybe it's not enough in some scenario.
Maybe it's better if we provide a mechanism to specify a customize filter.
For example:
So user can make a special filter , then specify which filter to use in
configure files.

saved into DB table "volume_glance_metadata".
But when I use " os-volume_upload_image" to create image from cinder volume,
the metadata in "volume_glance_metadata"
is not setted back to the newly created image. I ca

This just pushes all the responsibility to guarantee the consistency of the
instance to the end user.
It's absolutely not convenient and I doubt whether it's appropriate.
