Generally, I agree with you. But it's a little tricky. There are different types of SR-IOV NICs and what will work for some vendor may be broken for another. I think that both current SR-IOV networking flavors: Embedded switching (Intel, Mellanox) and Cisco VM-FEX should be verified for relevant nova patches. What tests do you think it should run for nova side?
