I'm not sure how you connected to the FTP address you listed in your email, but I was unable to connect to it and find an rpm. If you are using Nvidia drivers from their site you will notice there is a readme there for SuSe users. It is best if you follow the instructions laid out there.

That's because you are working in a smaller universe. Smaller? Naaah... just different. I work in Linux and Unix... work with it every day at home and on the job (no MS in my world). Just never run into problems with mount points and HAL. Dvdshrink is one app that I can think of right now.
