Hi. I have a blown Nvidia FX5200 card on my openSuSE 10.2 install. The computer is set up to use Nvidia per the info found in opensuse. I put in another graohics card marked: MVGA-NVTNT2MAL 16MB Even if I think, that the letters can indicate that it's also an Nividia card, the 10.2 cannot

Hi, your new card is old nVidia TNT2 which is not supported by nVidia binary drivers. You have to use nv video driver instead of nvidia. You can (as root) edit the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf and replace line Driver nvidia with Driver nv It's possible to do that with yast as well,
