Oh yes! This Problem occurs also when the NFS-Server itself is not reachable. No NFS, no $HOME, no gnome. :-) In case of doubt just do "cat /proc/cmdline" on a running client to have an overview which essential settings the client received. Regards, Jörn -- Jörn Frenzel Development and S

Okay, thanks Jörn. That at least got me looking in the right direction. For some reason the default NFS server of $(myip) was not being sent to the thin client, so I changed it to the DNS name and everything started working immediately. ---

Hi everyone. I'm an OTC noob, but experienced with PXE and various thin OSes. I can boot to OTC easily and quickly (way to go guys, this software is sooo easy!), but when I log in-either with AutoLogin or with a defined username and password-I get the following: "Your Session only lasted less
