I've looked on the OpenVAS Web site, but did not find an answer to this question: Can OpenVAS scan end-user computers for Social Security Numbers? We'd like to NOT have SSN information present on people's computers. Thanks for the assistance. -Dan

I went ahead and posted the technical details I'm experiencing with the 4.0 release packages on CentOS and RHEL 5.5 to the distro e-mail list. It's a moderated list so I don't know when I'll hear back. Once I do, I'll post any solutions found. Thanks. -Dan

So are you going to update your site letting folks know that CentOS 5.5 and RHEL 5.5 do not work with 4.0 from packages so we don't waste lots of time like I have last and part of this week? Might be prudent, or at least someone should acknowledge the CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
