The XML is generated from the database on the fly. So there's no "base"
XML file. Maybe look at the notes feature for annotating results.

You could use the Master-Slave feature. See "Slaves" menu item and the
Task's slave in GSA. That way all the reports would end up on the Master.

That is OpenVAS-7.
The format of the timezone is described in the My Settings help page (click
the question mark icon). It's the same as the TZ environment variable on
GNU/Linux systems, so may not be obvious.

Yes, you have to pass those options to the actual demon command (the
command you run to start openvasmd).

hosts_allow or hosts_deny.
Manager sends these preferences when "Exclude Hosts" is set on the target.
