Re: Failed to load PAX CDI 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT feature

2018-02-16 Thread Grzegorz Grzybek
Hello

I've just:
 – allowed pax-cdi-web to use pax-web 6.0+[1] (instead of 6.1+)
 – lowered features XSD version from 1.5.0 to 1.4.0[2]
 – backported PAXCDI-210 fix to pax-web 6.0.10-SNAPSHOT (and I'm just
finishing integration tests run)

So when pax-cdi 1.0.0 and pax-web 6.0.10 is released, it could be
successfully used in Karaf 4.1+

best regards
Grzegorz Grzybek

 Hi Grzegorz,

Thanks for the quick response. Yes indeed it works with Karaf 4.2.x but
bear in mind that this is still a milestone 2 release.
The newer version of the karaf feature bundle does embed v1.5.0 schema.

It would be nice if we could use the PAX-CDI snapshot for trying out with
existing Karaf 4.1.x. Otherwise I would have to be forking it making
unnecessary change.

Thanks again for your help.

Re: Failed to load PAX CDI 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT feature

2018-02-14 Thread Grzegorz Grzybek
Hello Tyler, I just took version from Karaf 4.2.0-SNAPSHOT...
The reason is that fixes in pax-cdi required changes in pax-web
6.1.2-SNAPSHOT (extracting "pax-web-core" feature).

And probably I should:
 - downgrade to 1.4.0 version of XSD
 - add pax-web-core feature to pax-web 6.0.10-SNAPSHOT
 - upgrade (at some point) Karaf 4.1.x to pax-web 6.0.10

In the meantime - could you please check with Karaf 4.2.x?

best regards
