hi,
A while ago a asked (and now see it working :-) ) to have a mass

So let's ask something else. Right now to find a service check one needs to
know where it is :-). Would it be possible to include service check names

hi,
one network device has been spewing lots of debugging snmp traps and
now I need to clean the mess up :( (about 1500 traps).
Is there a way of doing this in a safe way in the database, or do I
have to manually remove them from the web ui?
TIA.

hi,
when using the web ui in a page like alerts unhandled list there is an
option to mass acknowlegde/recheck services/hosts problems.
We would really love to have the option to mass schedule a downtime
for hosts/services.
Is anyone else intterested in this?
Thanks in advance,

According to

the nagios plugin check_dns should be able to perform checks on all

These are the plugins installed by opsview (debian squeeze):

hi,
If I set in a host a parent host, when this parent host is not
reachable I should not get any warnings (at least, this is my
assumption).
Unfortunately, this is not working for me. Is there something else I
should be setting in either parent or child or both to have this
working?

hi,
we have quite a few multihomed hosts and we would like to monitor them
using the $ADDRESSES$ macro.
I have a service check that looks like this:
check_icmp -H $ADDRESSES$ -w 100.0,20% -c 500.0,60%
but if I apply it to a template with hosts that only have one address
we get UNKNOWN errors:
And this has to do with the subject of the topic how, exactly? :-)
Check the nagios plugins exchange site, if there is something, then it is
there.

this is more cosmetic than anything else, but it can get annoying :-)
I installed opsview community through the debian repository from opsera.
Great documentation, works out of the box. It installs mrtg for the
graphics, but the default debian package also installs a cron job in
/etc/cron.d/m
apparently the netpbm package did not put the necessary binaries in the
$PATH, so hosticon_admin cannot find them and croaks.
