to be compatible ANSI types.

The suppliers took the server and the oracle software to reinstall
everything. They blame the DB configuration. They are going to look for an

And what pain do you create by backing up the online redo logs anyway?
Considering you are backing up the database anyway-the online redo logs will
not add hours to that cycle.. It's worth the effort, cuz those puppies are
like gold(as well as the archived logs)..

You have to tread softly with hash joins. They are not
suitable for every scenario.
