system into oracle ??
this is the sample of the code that i am using ... and it hangs endlesly...

I am trying to connect to a Non Oracle database from the Oracle database (
Version 8.1.7.4).
i want to do some thing like this :
i have my ODBC set up on an Win NT machine. I have created a heterogeneous
connection set up on Win NT.
Now i want to connect from a Unix machine to the Listener
i was successfull in connecting to a Non oracle database from Oracle on unix
through the Listener on Win NT.
this situation arose b'cos we did not have a ODBC setup on Unix.
So we had to do the ODBC as well as the Heterogeneous services setup on Win
NT. and then try to connect from databse on Unix
