Hi All,
There has been some discussion in the past regarding moving
the audit tables out of the SYSTEM table space to avoid fragmentation.
Is this a good idea and if so does any have a procedure for doing so?
Are there any problems to watch out for?

Yep, and here's how (for 8i).
alter table sys.aud$ move tablespace tools
storage (initial 128K next 128K);
alter index sys.i_aud1 rebuild tablespace tools
storage (initial 128K next 128K);
