You may well be OK. All you need to do is fetch the database up in nomount
mode
startup nomount from svrmgrl.
SVRMGR startup nomount
ORACLE instance started.
Total System Global Area 6892912 bytes
Fixed Size 60784 bytes
Variable
You have to startup nomount and issue a 'create
controlfile' command listing all the bits and pieces
(that you can remember)

When this database created, the creator kept the create database scripts, so
I able to retrieve some information from there,
(is in $ORACLE/assistants/dbca/jlib/SIDrun.sh)
