What could be the problem?? I'm getting the
following error while connecting to the database on Solaris 8.
ERROR:ORA-01034: ORACLE not
availableORA-27101: shared memory realm does not existSVR4 Error: 2: No
such file or directory

If this is NT I have had this error as well. Mine was an error in the
init.ora parameters, I forgot to comment something out.
