Note that performers still have to pay taxes on the money they earn. So
unless your talent is planning to cheat on their taxes it's not benefiting
them to keep below the $600 threshold.

Also note that travel expenses are not included in the amount recorded in
the 1099-K. Hence, we negotiate a full package that is compensation plus
travel and account for travel separately.
