I don’t recall that Michael designed a Strawberry, but he frequently taught Rae Cooker’s famous strawberry model. He also diagrammed it. His diagrams are publishd in The Paper, No 51, June 1995, an issue which was a tribute to him after his untimely death. It is available from the Source at

I learned a George Rhoads elephant 5 or so years ago at the BOS Autumn meeting. One of his kinetic sculptures is, or was, in the north building of the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd Street in NYC. Last I saw it, it was in need of some restoration work but some parts were still working

There is a great donkey model by Raymond M'Lain, that I folded in the late 80's but I think it was created earlier than that. It is called 'Democratic Donkey' as I recall. Donna Walcavage
