my advice is, don't rely on official tags like stable or unstable.
download each version and do your testing with your application(s). during

hi,
I'm experiencing serious problems with a memory leak that causes orion to
consume more memory with each application restart/redeployment with the
combination jdk1.4 (linux) - orion 1.5.4. with jdk 1.3 memory consumption
remains constant after a while. even calling System.gc() explicitly
Hi,
just wanted to ask the list if anyone has migrated a compley app from orion
to weblogic. we have a customer who wants us to port an app we developed for
them from orion to weblogic (corporate policy). so far we have identified
security (we have used orion security APIs) and cmp (we use
In the meantime, I just wanted to offer that I work for a company that
develops what we call Portal Lifecycle Management tools (read application
lifecycle for the web) on the J2EE platform. We currently support both
Orion 1.5.x and WebLogic 6.1 (we require EJB 2.0 compliance), meaning we
kuassi,
does this mean you also fork the development for the J2EE core, i.e. bugfixes
made there will not make it back to the ironflare orion development?
hope you don't have to give away classified information to answer this

Which jdk/kernel/glibc are you using? We have two production systems running
a similar setup without any serious problems.

I haven't tried this, so who knows what might break, but you could write a

I suppose that the bean's environment can be used to hold the specific SQL,
with parameter replacements, however, this seems out of place with the CMP
model.

:
writeObject only needs to know that the Object is of Serializable type
(which they all are), readObject needs to call a constructor and therefor
needs to have access to the class. is it something like that? any
recommended reading on the topic?
