Hi all I have one doubt regarding the use of RoleManager Class. Is it available only inside EJBs? I tried to look up the RoleManger("java:comp/RoleManager") from an Application Client(SWING), but it always throws a NameNotFound exception. Is it supposed to work this way? TIA Anil

UserManager groups and Role Manager roles

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between User Manager groups and Role Manager roles? It seems that I need to create groups in order to get roles to work, and that allows me to define permissions on the group. What is the point of this? Why not just have users and roles and one API? I&#
