The srtm file names appear to relate to the latitude & longitude they cover
although the logic isn't entirely clear to me because there are some gaps
in the longitude numbering. However, using this logic I downloaded enough
srtm files that should cover my area, added a reference to them in the

I always use RouteConverter to create routes. It can create GPX files
containing tracks, waypoints and routepoints.

If you create routes only on the points where you need the directions, you
can still save them as track, waypoints or routepoints. OsmAnd

I just tried "snap to road" on my home brew obf files and it worked. Been a
while since I updated osmandmapcreator, and I build against srtm elevation
files. I am running the latest osmand+ release.
