It can work both, offline with the osmand service or online with the osmr service. The ofline osmand service is the default and it needs downloaded maps, you could set osmand to use the OSMR online service, wich doean't need downloaded maps and works online in

Dear Paul Thanks for your answer. The same steps are on my phone, but (see screenshot) I can start a new track (recording change to stopp) and nothing happens; Time are always 0:00:00 / Distance are 0 m. When I tip STOPP, are no new track in the folder Rec (only three old ones). Any idea?
