Hello, I am testing the DEMO API but I am not able to clean the old routes
loaded with GPX files. I tested the mOsmAndAidlHelper.removeGpx and
mOsmAndAidlHelper.removeAllActiveMapMarkers methods to no avail.
Which method to use?

Thank you for the description of handling of maps in sqlitedb-Format and
copying them to the tiles-folder of OSmAnd.
This is the way I have handled my maps up to now.
In some cases I want to use different types/families of maps for the same
area/country, e.g.:
- overview maps
- geological maps
Measuring beeline distances hasn't got more complicated. But it has very
useful new features. You can measure distances along a route passing
through given points - and that for different profiles. Furthermore it has
grown into a track editor.
IMHO it has got much more useful.
