Wikipedia Data - Where from?
I see one or two threads about how wikipedia works on OSMand but nothing on what data we have here/is relevant. Is it any wikipedia data, by Lat/Long and appears on the map in appropriate places. Or is it data where an osm tag has a link to the article. ie. Just what OSM users have put in. Thanks J -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group. Re: Wikipedia Data - Where from?
Ok, That means there's more wikipedia data than just the ones tagged from OSM, so I'm happy. Feature Request Wood/Heath Colours
Would it be possible to differentiate a bit more between wood and heath. Perhaps a paler green for heath For Outdoor folks and Hill Walkers, they look ever so close in colour and I've needed to use a shape of a wood I can see from a hill to orientate myself to keep me on my path. Currently I can't see woods very well, and need to drop into Maps.me to get me going. I love the GPX analysis in osm and would dearly love to use if for outdoor pursuits a bit more. I'm away for a few days, but will look back in next week to see if there is a reply :-) J -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group. Re: Feature Request Wood/Heath Colours
Well after playing around a bit, the "more Details" option changed the heath colour to a paler green, fixing my issue. However I have no idea why! and what else More Details gives - google didn't help much. However, I'm there. It's been a few years since using my OsmAnd+ app, and it's come on quite a bit - still a tad slow though on rendering, which is why I quit it in the first place. Times of Updates
Hi, Generally, map updates appear dated the first of a month, me getting the UK approx 4-5th of the month. Is there a date or a rule for the date when the cut off is for inclusion into the maps dated the 1'st? Just the odd time it would have been handy to know. Re: Live traffic data
Maps.me last time I looked had traffic data. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group. GPX speed data
Hi, some GPX files I import have speed data embedded. Some of the analysis screens for a gpx file use this data so osmand must be speed aware. However I can't seem to add speed while creating a route with the app. Is this/should this be possible? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OsmAnd" group.
