VS2013 had a static product key – it just varied depending on the edition you wanted to install. Hi, I'm currently in a dispute with Microsoft in that I have been unable to "activate" my licence as they claim I have "exceeded" my activations. At least that's how I understood it. They are also adamant that I need a Product Key. Product Keys have never been needed/available for VS2013 and above when acquired via a MSDN subscription.
