scale, but are worried about the fact that their little one will soon be
mobile and in contact with honey, and the equipment used to store and

10 years ago today the Mackay Birth Centre was officially opened. We were Queenslands
first Birth Centre still only one of 2 in the state. It's been a bumpy road at
times, but with passionate midwives and passionate and active consumers we've made it.

I attended the Milk,Mammals and Marsupials conference last year and there
was a session on infant botulism presented by L Potvin an IBCLE from Central
Coast Health Paediatrics in Gosford NSW. There was nothing that this lady
did not know about the disease having looked after a baby affected by it.
