Australian mothers and babies have set a new world record
for the biggest simultaneous breastfeed in one country.
At 11:30am (AEST), 1,684 babies began to feed in 42
locations

This year Melbourne is holding "Breastfest" on
Friday August 6th, beginning at 11am at the Malvern Town Hall.
Entertainment will be provided by "The Jellybugs" The official "count" of
babies breastfeeding will be at 12 noon.

The organisers did a fantastic
job considering how many people there were.

Woo Hoo!
Having participated in the 2000 Breastfest, when we were outdone by Tassie?and
we were so sad, I am thrilled. Wish I was still breastfeeding. ABA should
be so proud of what they do supporting women and babies. Pity more women
dont think to use them when they breastfeed.
