Looking fora midwife in this area, for a woman who is
currently 18 weeks pregnant, unsure about birthing options, might like a
homebirth or b/c birth. Anyone out there?

As for Ann Mcleod_Taylor, my friend did contact her
and she advised that she would be unable to do this. Ann is apparently ceasing
practise as a "doula".
My friend understands that the midwife she hires
will have a restrictive role within the hospital.
