I was always told that one of the best ways to get rid of extra pregnancy kilo's (usually stored as fat) was to breastfeed?  whether your start weight at the beginning of pregnancy was 110kg or 50kg there will be excess fat in the body, should we stop breastfeeding for fear of  these toxins?

Ken?! Thanks but I am sure I speak for a lot of people. I to have fought the battle very hard. Research has found the overweight and obese do not get those higher level jobs they apply for due to prejudices. Shift work with irregular meals does not help many people with their weight control. Barb

Hi Barb, No I refer to things such as pesticides which are deposited into fat. I am sorry, should look up a reference for you. I remember learning this when preparing for the lactation exam. (Might point out that I am classified overweight myself!) It is not a good idea for a pregnant or lactating
