Funny you should ask that right now. We have two mum's in care with previous 4th degree tears. ( One of these happened a couple of years ago while under my care - as prime with large baby but no other concerns, just happened. I had two in one week and am hoping I will never see another. She

Sue this stuff really scares me. I don't know what business a nurse in an incontinence clinic has recommending major abdominal surgery, with it's attendant risks which are far greater than vaginal birth. If I were the nurse, I'd be saying, "Have you thought about having a home birth? Those
