[Bug 1307271] Review Request: vswm - Very Simple Wireless Manager
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1307271 --- Comment #11 from Diogo Melo--- Hi. About the license, it was my mistake. The intended license was GPLv3. Regarding building it for python2 and/or python3, I've seen that from fc22 forward, for python executables, it is advisable to build it for python3 and, if possible, python2 too. I've decided to build it only for python3. I've replaced '#!/usr/bin/env python2' with '#!/usr/bin/python3'. The spec file is now on GitHub https://github.com/dmelo/vswm/blob/master/distros/fedora/vswm.spec Here is the Copr URL for the new version https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/dmelo/VSWM/build/454419/ I will now work on error handling, as you suggested. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. [Bug 1377038] New: Review Request: sxhkd - Simple X hotkey daemon
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1377038 Bug ID: 1377038 Summary: Review Request: sxhkd - Simple X hotkey daemon Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Component: Package Review Severity: medium Priority: medium Assignee: nob...@fedoraproject.org Reporter: pidgor...@informatik.uni-frankfurt.de QA Contact: extras...@fedoraproject.org CC: package-review@lists.fedoraproject.org Spec URL: https://pidgornyy.fedorapeople.org/review/sxhkd.spec SRPM URL: https://pidgornyy.fedorapeople.org/review/sxhkd-0.5.6-1.fc24.src.rpm Description: sxhkd is an X daemon that reacts to input events by executing commands. Its configuration file is a series of bindings that define the associations between the input events and the commands. The format of the configuration file supports a simple notation for mapping multiple shortcuts to multiple commands in parallel. Note from the packager: A while ago I brought the tiling window manager bspwm to Fedora (1317282). While bspwm does not depend on sxhkd, and it is both possible to use bspwm with a different hotkey deamon and sxhkd with a different window manager, they are usually used in unison. Both programs are written by the same author and work great together. Most bspwm guides and also the official documentation suggest using sxhkd as hotkey daemon. [Bug 1374138] Review Request: vim-syntastic - A vim plugins to check syntax for programming languages
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1374138 Randy Barlowchanged: What|Removed |Added Flags||needinfo?(praiskup@redhat.c ||om) --- Comment #19 from Randy Barlow --- One more thing to fix: The Obsoletes: statement is supposed to obsolete versions under a particular release (typically the fist release of this package), not under the current version (i.e., you shouldn't use a macro for this bit). Thus, I recommend setting Obsoletes: %upstream_name < 3.7.0-5 The Provides macro looks correct to me. You can read about why you don't want to use that version-release macro here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Guidelines#Renaming.2FReplacing_Existing_Packages Everything else looks great, so if you just fix that one line I think we'll be good to go.
