Hi All,
When a client device passes our captive portal, is there a URL we can use for
the client to deregister the device earlier than the deregistration date/time?
This is necessary for loaned devices on our campus to prevent prior user’s
registrations from being used by new users.
Thanks,
I have specified a virtual IP address for the portal interface for all three
cluster members in the web interface, but I’m unable to ping the VIP. I have
set high-availability in cluster.conf for the portal interface as well. What am
I missing?
Thank you,

This is a new clustered install of Packetfence-Zen. I have not intentionally
changed the default terminal password. I find myself not being able to log into
any of the three cluster members by SSH today for no known reason. Has this
happened to anyone else before? How did you get back into the

I use it. The PF documentation was more or less spot-on for it.

Has anyone run Packetfence webauth with Aruba for guest wireless access? Any
guides or manuals for integration that I can use?

I’m setting up a new cluster with three total members.
Server1 is running with /usr/local/pf/sbin/pf-mariadb --force-new-cluster
Server2 runs systemctl restart packetfence-mariadb
But fails with:
Job for packetfence-mariadb.service failed because a timeout was exceeded. See
"systemctl status
If you don’t wish to overwrite the original cert files, you can modify which
certs are used as well as the Intermediate cert at:
/usr/local/pf/conf/httpd.conf.d/ssl-certificates.conf
I found this piece of information to be missing in the documentation and other
help articles around the web.

Good luck,

I am setting up clustering but I cannot find decent documentation on
cluster.conf. I need to know what the valid options are, specifically for
"type=". I tried to set "inline" and “inlinel2”, but those keywords aren’t
recognized. Does anyone have documentation or experience with clustering
