I've had good luck with both Epson and Hewlett-Packard printers in the color
department. The inks aren't cheap though. Costco has the ink I use, but the
last time I got some there, a package containing two black and the C-M-Y
package set me back about $130.00 - 140.00 USD.

I would recommend seeing if a friend can print it for you. As Bones
says, laser print tends to crack along folds, and the solid ink
printers use what is essentially crayon, and when it doesn't crack, it
won't take glue well.

I had a Halinsky Hawker Hurricane printed at a commercial place and they
used laser. The problem I found was that the laser printer puts a film
on top of the paper and it cracks when you fold it.
