Hi,
I need to know how it is possible to apply a motion (time-serie) to a
mesh, loaded in Paraview from a VTK file. I do have a time series of the
angular position around one point, but I can't visualise it in paraview.
What I am trying to do is basically to rotate all the points (and then
Hi Vincent,
Try Cell Centers filter.
Maybe normals are mapped to points (generated at cell centers).
Next applying Glyph filter and you may get expected results.

I have verified that the issue is specific to KDE ... If I run the GNOME
window manager on the same workstation, the pop-up behaves correctly.
Curiously, the behavior only impacts the color map editor. Other pop-up

Hello Ramiz
I believe you need to create a GridCollection, and set the CollectionType
Attribute to Temporal. Then give each Grid in the Collection the
appropriate Time attribute. I've attached the output from one of the
example programs included in the XDMF2 repository that illustrates this.
Interesting, not totally shocking though. The color editor does create an
OpenGL viewport to render the transfer function widget, none of the other
dialogs do. That could explain why it doesnt' like being popped out. It
could be a combination of KDE/Qt version. We will be updating to Qt 5.0
soon.
Christoph,
The issues Alan pointed out are indeed some of the concerns. It's been that
and priorities of the sources that fund ParaView development that we never
got around to investigating this too deeply or coming up with an all
encompassing solution. Maybe we start by picking a small set of
I learned something new!
Although I don't now how I managed to enable it, that was the problem. Thanks.

Use KDE 4.11 (TS has 3.5.4) and don't see this behaviour...

Hello,
I have a problem with compiling Paraview 4.1 using my own libtiff
(version 4.0.3, cmake flag VTK_USE_SYSTEM_TIFF=ON) and visitbridge
plugin (cmake flag PARAVIEW_USE_VISITBRIDGE=ON). When I try to compile

Hi Vincent,
You have to use the transform filter to rotate your mesh, and then animate
the angle thanks to the Animation View.

Hi,
I am using ParaviewWeb with a custom protocol in which I want to change

I was wondering what the general way is to do that ?
