it is somewhat comparable to soundForge. I would ask my instructor if you
can create your work on SoundForge. From other blind studio people, I have
learned that proTools is not usable.

I searched for the ds-50 on Amazon, and Olympus was not listed as a brand name.
Still looking for that particular model, assuming it is available there? What
else would it be listed under since there are several "digital voice recorders"
listed under Olympus with no model number listed.

I can not find the message about labeling cd's with laminating
material. Would the person who posted the message let me know how
much info they put on the label? It seems to me that too much info
would cause the cd to be inballanced. Is that true? Thanks

Here's the way I do it. I start the record, alt-tab to whatever I'm using

exactly the right place.

You'll be impressed, and Milestone certainly isn't worth another $150 more than
these new recorders. They are already for sale several places on the internet,
including Amazon. Amazon also has a fuller spec sheet on the DS-50 than the
Olympus announcement.

Well, I still wonder what ProTools can do. Is it comparable to SoundForge or
GoldWave, or is it another type of program altogether? I wonder if it's
simply a matter of writing scripts to operate it with speech. Probably not.
