My fear is that these players won't be able to play WMA and other common
file types because licensing the rights is prohibitively expensive.

Hi audiophiles, I know that there is occasional discussion regarding
tape decks and their integration with the PC I stumbled across this
tape deck, and it struck me as different because it is like the
component dual decks we are all familiar with, but it also includes
USB connectivity. The
can we as screen reader users access the recording / playback meeters in

Hi Brett,
I just saw this note today. I've gotten dreadfully behind
in reading emails.
I was thinking of putting up a tutorial on how to do this
entire operation. I'll be doing that this week.
When you originally record the tape, do it at 44.1
stereo. Then when
Hello, Norma,
Thank you very much for the link to the USB cassette deck. It is definitely
something I'm certain many of us are interested in obtaining. I certainly
have an eye on it. smile
Take care,

Hello Norma,
This device will help me do something that my pastor and I have been trying
to figure out how to do for the longest time.
And that is to record the Sunday morning and evening services and put them
both on CD and on our website.
I will gladly spend $298.00 to get 2 of these.

Hi,
I have been studying the apendix D section of the latest goldwave manual
concerning how to make a cd from a cassette or turntable. If I am
recording a cd from a cassette, which already has 4 second spaces between
the tracks, is it necessary to make a new folder for each track, or
Try both ways and see which one works. I doubt you will need to put
individual tracks into separate folders; that would be ridiculous.
However, if you have to, go ahead and do that. I would say try putting
them all in one folder first, recording one file for each track.

Is it possible to burn a CD from MP3 files using GoldWave?

You can create an auto playlist in windows media player that will allow you
to create a random playlist of any size you wish and then synchronise to
your portable player. I do this all the time to fill my 1GB stone.

It's because I want to use it on a victor stream which has a sd card. I'd
have to copy the files in a specific folder or directly on the card.
Would I be able to do it in wmp?

Hi,
Has anyone seen a problem with Audio Repeater where it'll break up the
input source?
I'm using it as a sort of second sound card until I get the PCI one
installed on this machine, and when I send the mic to the virtual card
with Audio Repeater, it breaks up randomly. I'm just trying it as
