Hello list: Does anyone know what is going on with Tapin Radio in regard to
checking for new version? Lately, whenever I try to check for the latest
version, my computer makes that Woom! noise and presents me with an error
message that says, the remote content was not found at the server
I haven't checked but I wonder if Audacity has this feature? I like the
feature where you can change the key of the song. It tells you what key it
is in. so I wonder if someone has written part so you can see the tempo?

Well, I got that message myself, but what I did then, I was going to the
website and downloaded it from there, but when I installed tapin radio on my
other machine it worked fine.

I went to the site and downloaded the latest version of Tapin Radio (1.56)
but now have discovered one of my recordings has gone! I recorded something
last night, but didn't move it out of the record folder; now it doesn't
seem to be there! So I guess it is lost forever!

No. The server hosting the updates has gone down for some reason
according to either a Facebook status or tweet (can't remember).
Obviously it still is under investigation.

The problem with the server hosting TapinRadio appears to be fixed. Also
the latest version of TapinRadio is version 1.56.1 in case people wanted
to check if they had the current version.

Too bad I didn't know about the fix before I upgraded to Tapin Radio 1.56;
may be just a dumb coincidence, but I had a couple of files that I had
recorded, using Tapin Radio; I had not had a chance to remove those files
from the Record folder! Consequently (and maybe Tapin didn't do this) but
