I am glad you mention that, since I also discovered that something has
change with that program. Its not the same, mine work fine but it
doesn't allow me to create presets anymore. I am not sure in your case
either what the problem is, but the help file is really crap to say

I think it would depend on what program was used to create the documents and
what you wanted to do with the documents on each platform. From what I
understand, MS Office doesn't work on the Mac, but there are programs that
can read documents created by MS Word. What I'm not sure about

As you say, Itunes on both systems shouldn't present a problem.
Pages is a word processor for the mac, and will read, and save
documents back in to word format.
