Bought one of these to compliment the Rotel Integrated Amp and Polk Bookshelf
Audio Speakers, all should be here early next week so I'll let you know how I
get on.
For those who are wondering, DAC is Digital Analogue converter so to put it
bluntly, you use a DAC to convert digital audio
you can change the timing of the delay, which of course takes more
processor horse power, but can be done.

source to both software and soundboard. I do this all the time and works
well.

Rob, the problem I see is that an external synth will not work for
other audio. Or, perhaps, I don't know how to make an external synth

That's exactly what I intend to do. By the way, I think you meant to say
external sound card, not synth. Someone was already confused by that, and
didn't know how an external synth could be used for audio.
