I'm wondering the same thing as I will eventually have to replace the one
that I have now. The one that I have now is very difficult for me to use
although I have been able to do some things with it. It is an old Radio
Shack scanner that was on close out about seven years ago and it isn't
if you do a search under the call letters of the station you will get a
direct link to the official site. Try submitting that as they may not be
interested or able to take a link from a competing program. Note they are
not good at responding to emails as I found out from experience.

I would think you could if you saved the downloaded file of the new version
before running it so it could be installed separately similar to saving
downloads of screen reader versions.

Well perhaps I'll try it. I did finally get the issues about Tapin Radio
access resolved and part tof the issue was that JAWS was not reading the
menus as they weren't showing up on the screen. I don't know how it got
fixed byt I had to contact MicroSoft accessibility about another issue and
if you go to www.npr.org you can listen live or search by call sign or zip
code to find a station in a particular area. If you know the call sign of an
NPR station in the Rio Grande valley they would also have their own web site
with a live stream.

Can you get any stations to play using Tapin Radio? I had to stop using
it a few months ago because I can't get any stations to play using the
software for it.

you would have to first download and install Tapin Radio to be able to

I've ran groups on Yahoogroups using the old format and I understand that
the new web-based format is very confusing even for sighted people. I
haven't had a group there for a while.

Did Google groups get their accessibility issues resolved? I thought that at
one point there were challenges for screen reader users who were moderatinhg
or establishing groups using Googlegroups.

I've still never gotten a response from Tapin Radio regarding this issue. I
have had to stop using the program because I don't even have an original
list of stations from when I installed it.

I was very satisfied with Tapin Radio until my problems arose recently. It’s
a bit disconcerting that they aren't responding to their support inquiries
from their web site for the past couple of months though.

Yes, in the installation process there was a box to check if one is a
screen reader user. I'm still not getting it to work here and don't have a
Twitter account to try contacting them. I will again try to do a WOIS search
