Well a $10 labtec mic will do you good. I use a micflex sometimes and it works
gteat. This is a usb mic that sounds pretty decent.

Ived used CDEX to do the same thing. and I incodeit to flac and then later to
mp3 or ogg. Now if CDEX would only encode to aac
