Hello all,
Are there any scripts or help files that will make Limewire accessible for a
Jaws 9 user?
Thanks,

A friend has recommended that I try LimeWire, a file sharing program, but I
don't recall any discussion on this list of the program. Can I assume that it's
inaccessible? Has anyone tried it?
Thanks,
Tony Swartz

I'm not sure about the accessibility, however, you need to be careful of
undesirable files.

As far as I know. Limewire is totally inaccessible. I don't know of anyone
who has made it work.
Best,
Helena.

Hi.
I can't get limewire 5
Hi list,
I am wondering if there is a way of making limewire 4.9.33, the latest basic
version, accessible with JFW 5.1.383, just to be exact. I thought I'd give it a
try, as many people say its a great program. But I can't do anything (search,
download, nothing at all.) And even
Well, I fooled around with Limewire sometime last year and got it to work a
bit. Of course, if you are using JFW, you have to use the Java Access
Bridge.
Basically, it was a matter of having Jaws anounce all the graphics
characters and clicking on them to see what happens. It was a long

Hi, Marsha here. I have JFW 6.10 and cannot get Limewire to work. The
short answer is you are sadly out of luck as this program is not accessible
in the slightest.

Hi Fred,
I tried it with JAWS and had absolutely no success. I couldn't even get to
much with the mouse.

Hi Fred, John here
I've tried using a high amount of sharing programs over the last few years
with Jaws 5 and Limewire is one of them and I agree there is no way with
Jaws to use that program website I have also tried Win MX witch is another
share program website and Jaws isn't very good
Has any one had success with Limewire using Jaws? The program loads and so
far it can only be used with the mouse.
Fred

It isn't. My husband and I tried it, and it isn't accessible. Plus, they
have bundled spyware.

Thanks for any feedback.
