I'm running windows xp with one of the soundblater sound cards. The problem

I recently ran into this problem on a laptop. As I recall, when JAWS
announced that the advanced controls were unavailable, I either hit
space or enter (should have been enter, even though the 'unavailable

maybe a different driver set. Maybe the new cards don't have advanced
controls but my old audigy 1 does.
