Well, go into goldwave, press f11 to get into the control settings, choose
volume from the tab control, tab to the wave option, make sure it is at
100%, tab to the check box that says select, press space bar to check it and
press enter. Hope this helps.

Sure, just up-arrow. When I record my radio shows, the files are

Hello Again,
My problem
You can do this to a limited degree with GW. I've used it several times
to record vocals over prerecorded music tracks, for example. I did a
five-voice jingle for my radio show, spreadi9ng the voices across the
stereo spectrum. And I do all my own cross-fading manually on my show,
so that requires
Yu can do a mix in gold wave but it does not do multi-tracking.

Question Date: Mon, 28 Aug 2006 19:55:24
What happens there is that you saved your file at a different sample rate
than you created it in. The program is asking you if you want the current
file in memory to be in that sampling rate (yes) or in the original
sampling rate at which it was recorded (no). I typically answer no to
this.
The easiest way to do it, I think, is to hit shift+e to set your markers.
Then tab once, and you'll be able to set your start marker. If you want to
start fifteen minutes into the file, you'd enter 15:00 and hit enter. Then
when you push F4, you should be starting at that start-marker position.
Yes, though it isn't fastforwarding. press shift+e then tab and type in
the time you want to jump to.s

Hi Anita.
How big is your hard disk? I suppose you can record until your hard disk is
full, but you will need a dvd disk if the recording you make is very large.
Best wishes.

The two-gig limit was a file-system limitation in the past. With GW and
NTFS systems, you can create files larger than two gigs.

Hi there.
GoldWave is not free unfortunately, though you can download a demonstration

and there is also a fantastic list to put your questions to. I'd strongly
