Hello to All of you that have given me the info regarding recording a book
on to CD, So I take it that Gold wave is a good program to use? Where
would I get this from please? I am using windows XP home with Jaws 50.

If you can afford it, you can get Soundforge from Sonypictures.

For straight recording and editing, there's no need to spend $400 on Sound
Forge when you can get Gold Wave for a tenth

Printing house for the Blind. If you can afford the $200, or there abouts,
it will serve very well. I am amazed that more blind people in the
community are unaware of the existence of that program.
