there is a little switch on the right side of the IMic which is used for Mic
or Line input. look beside the headphone jack and you should find it. it
isn't a lever as such, but feels like part of the sound card. it slides back

lever, but mine has a slide switch on the edge where the sockets are.

assignment, the way that my Logitech headset tries to do, and as most other
USB devices try to do, as well. But, if you have this problem, you should

As I said, I don't recall having to do that with the IMic. I think I only
first ever had to do that when I got my Logitech headset for skype. But, why
not do it anyway? Given how many USB devices there are nowadays that one may
wish to use, and the potential for each of them to want to make

That's a fair question and the answer is that you may not need an
Imic if you already have a sound card however, the Imic I have to say
leaves the quality of the SB Live etc way behind so for the Price?
Well that may be worth considering.
The other great thing about the Imic is that it just

another Imic so if anything breaks down in the Sound device

Don't exactly remember; But if you plug in a mic and flip the
switch back and forth you can tell which is which. The position
