I chose a dynamic microphone for my Sony MZ-b100 minidisk recorder a
few years ago. I wanted an omni directional microphone for my first
purchase. It has an excellent pick up and robust sound. I find the
sound from powered microphones to be sharp with edges with the
increases and falls

Plextalk Pocket. I'd like recommendations for a good stereo microphone for
capturing the interview. I think it needs to be powered.

I forgot to say the mic is about five inches long and easily held in the
hand, it comes with the usual 3.5mm plugged into the usual 6.4mm adaptor so
can be used in either format. Cost in the UK about £70, sorry, don't know
what it is in dollars.

model number, thinking further, I think the one I actually have is the
ECM950.

You can use a charger like this from caretec in Austria.
Its a talking battery charger and can take nicad and metal hbrid.
